Diabetes is a metabolic disease which is caused due to high blood sugar content or deficiency of insulin and being Healthy is very important. This high blood sugar content produces symptom of polyuria, polydipsia, and polyphagia.
3 MAIN TYPES OF DIABETES:
Type 1 diabetes: It is caused due to deficiency of insulin and requires insulin to be injected vary in every time period.
Type 2 diabetes: In this condition cells are not able to combine with insulin.
Gestational diabetes: This disease occurs in pregnant women, who never had diabetes before, have high blood glucose level during pregnancy. It can precede development of type 2 DM.
CAUSES OF DIABETES:
Diabetes is caused due to too little insulin, or deficiency in insulin, resistance to insulin. The pancreas which produces insulin is to control blood sugar.
TYPE 1 DIABETES:
Children usually get this kind of disease. Exact cause of this disease is unknown. Genetics, viruses, and autoimmune problems may play role.
TYPE 2 DIABETES:
Diabetes type 2 is common than type 1. It is often seen that most of adults gets type2 due to insufficient secretion of insulin in blood. Even most of adult are prone to this disease because due to increasing obesity and failure to exercise.
SYMPTOMS OF TYPE 1 DIABETES AS FOLLOWS:
Increased in thirst
Loss in weight due to increase in appetite.
SYMPTOMS OF TYPE 2 DIABETES AS FOLLOWS:
Increased in appetite
Increased in thirst
Increased in urination
There is no cure for diabetes. Cure involves medicine, diet, and work out to control blood sugar and avoid symptoms. Type 1 diabetes is very contagious and has very severe symptoms
THE LONG TERM GOALS OF TREATMENT ARE:
Avoid diabetic relevant complications like blindness, heart disease, kidney failure and amputation of limbs.
